This course provides students with an introduction to Microsoft PowerBI by building a foundation for all subsequent courses and learning. The main end-user features of PowerBI are introduced including how to use PowerBI to interact with reports, visualizations and dashboards. Students will learn important end user skills including how to proficiently work in Microsoft PowerBI to connect to data sources, consume content packs and apps, share visualizations, and start to create your own reports and dashboards in the PowerBI service.
No previous experience of Microsoft PowerBI is needed to sit this course. This course applies to end users and provides at foundation for subsequent learning and courses.

This course has been designed to apply to end users of Microsoft PowerBI.
It is recommended that attendees of this course have an existing working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook. However, this course assumes no prior knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI.

This module presents common skills the end user requires to efficiently interact with and create Reports in Microsoft PowerBI. You will learn how to work with the PowerBI navigation to view Reports as well as create your own Reports from a connected Data source. You will also learn how to create report filters, charts, visualizations and create basic formulas.

In this module we will learn how to work with Dashboards in PowerBI. The differences between Reports and Dashboards will be considered as well as the process to create a new Dashboard from an existing PowerBI Report.

This module looks at the relationship between Microsoft PowerBI and other Office365 apps. We look at the interface differences the end user will need to consider when Microsoft PowerBI is surfaced in SharePoint and Dynamics 365 as well as other features presented to the user within Office365.
