This course provides students with a detailed hands-on experience of setting up, customizing, configuring and maintaining the CRM components of Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Attendees of this course will gain an in-depth understanding of the Dynamics 365 security model, learn how to customize the Dynamics 365 framework, create and maintain powerful workflows and business process flows and use solutions to package and deploy customizations across multiple Dynamics 365 environments.

The course applies to both Business and Enterprise Editions of Dynamics 365 as well as Online and On-premise deployments.

This course has been reviewed and tested by the external body ProCert Quality Courseware Review.

This course maps directly to exam MB-200: Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Core.

Prerequisites

Students should have an existing working knowledge of either Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Dynamics CRM.  As a minimum, students should attend the prerequisite course ‘Introduction to Microsoft Dynamics 365’.

This course is intended for Technical students, Administrators and Developers. Students should have an existing working knowledge of Microsoft .Net and Visual Studio.

At Course Completion

After completing this course, students will be able to:

 

  • Manage and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 client devices, including the required hardware, software, phone and tablet environments.
  • Analyze the needs of an organization, create a deployment plan and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 to meet specific organization considerations
  • Design a data import plan and methodology. Perform a data import and manage data migrations with the Data Loader service.
  • Manage the Microsoft Dynamics 365 subscriptions, users, security roles and hybrid environments with Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
  • Deploy, configure and manage multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 instances including Sandbox and Production. 
  • Manage updates to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment using an update policy.
  • Learn how to integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 with Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive and OneNote. Manage Microsoft Social Engagement integration, Yammer integration, workspace collaboration with Office 365 Groups, and Delve integration.
  • Integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 with third party custom applications and create custom Apps using App Designer, App Source and Power Apps
  • Configure, integrate and manage Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Outlook 
  • Manage and configure phone and tablet mobile apps for Microsoft Dynamics 365
